Training of TEM assistant trainers
New approach. A new modular training is given at the Tily Eto Madagasikara or TEM this year. The opening ceremony of the training took place on Saturday 27 January 2018 in Iavoambony, Analamanga-Avaratra region. The training will take place until next March.
« This is a training organized by the National Scout Association Tily eto Madagasikara, notably by its Training Department. This new training system is being implemented over 9 weeks since the week of January 22, « clarified Tsiory Rakotomavo, Training Manager.
Modular Assistant Scout Instructor training is for adults from the National Scout Association (ASN) and / or the National Scout Organization (NSO), with specific responsibilities at the association level and willing to contribute to the improvement of adult education. This first modular training includes 19 registered adults including 6 women. They come from three administrative regions of the island: Analamanga (1), Atsinanana and Alaotra Mangoro.
The training is composed of five modules: the scouting and its foundations, the spiritual development, training engineering, the personal development and communication for development and other transversal themes: human rights, gender approach applied to development, protection of environment and adaptation to climate change.

According to Tsiory Rakotomavo, the sessions will improve the training that will be delivered at the level of the different regions by the assistant trainers. This modular training system uses a multitude of resources, external or internal to the TEM.
Partnerships with ministries concerned with youth education, training institutions and the media were set up to develop this new approach and improve the association’s external relations.
Commissioner General Michel Raoelijaona honored the opening ceremony with his presence.
« A positive mentality or » toe-tsaina miabo « is what we want to convey. It is not enough to educate children at school and to teach them intellectual knowledge. Having an intelligent child who has no love for the country, no sense of honesty and no respect for manners and traditions, it is insufficient, « argued Michel Raoelijaona.

The association Tily Eto Madagasikara includes 5 synods: FJKM, EEM, FLM, METM and FMTA. Currently, TEM has about 65,000 members nationwide.
