the event will host nine African athletes, three from South Africa, three from Ethiopia and three from Kenya. A possible displacement thanks to a collaboration between the organizers – including the World Trade Center Antananarivo and Vision Madagascar – and airlines Airlink, Ethiopian Airways and Kenya Airways. These athletes will be made up of women, which will make the Marathon a mixed event. This edition will also include the participation of athletes from the neighboring islands of the Indian Ocean. Star athletes from the seventeenth edition of the International Marathon to the UltraRun Meeting on September 17 will be present, as well as four Mauritian and Seychellois athletes. For this year, the International Marathon targets 2,000 participants, compared with 1,300 last year. The Registration Points are Vision Madagascar Ankorondrano, the FMA at the Alarobia Stadium and the Ortana at the Jardin d’Antaninarenina. An exhibition of the partners of the event will take place at the City Hall on 14 and 15 October.
