Success of the first edition
Cohesion, dynamism, energy and good atmosphere, all combined with unconditional love for the English language! One could describe by this the two days during which the English Language World Festival, organized by the association Unity Madagascar, which took place on August 24 and 25 at the Gymnasium Covered Ankorondrano.
An event that showed a real enthusiasm of the public and partners for a first edition. The latter was indeed a springboard for the young Malagasy who wanted, first, to practice English; second, to learn more about the English language and the opportunities it offers; third, express yourself on positive values such as hope, freedom, prosperity, education and development of our country
“The event was a great success for a 1st edition! We did not expect such public enthusiasm and strong participation in all activities. Our partners registered a lot of registrations and told us that it was even beyond their expectations! The satisfaction rate of partners and visitors has been high and we can only be very happy about that. Inspiring young people to act for the development of Madagascar is within our reach and it is a task that everyone must participate in, in good humour and joy,” said Romeo Rajaonah, President of Unity Madagascar.
The good cohesion between Malagasy and foreigners was the centerpiece of the event.
“We helped each other in all aspects of the organization of the event and this complicity is worth gold! They shared their know-how and experiences with us and showed their willingness to help us,” says Romeo Rajaonah.
On the other hand, the various stands of associations and companies have also attracted people.
During the two days, the entertainment stands: video games, Just Dance, and food also did not run out of visitors.
In addition, the various competitions including Speech Contest, Spelling bee, Music Talent Contest and Street Dance Contest have ignited the main stage. Speakers also shared their knowledge and experiences on various topics: leadership, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, etc.
“We all felt this positive energy during the highlights of each competition. The atmosphere was exceptional from start to finish! The use of the English language in a common way has been appreciated by all and has brought everyone together: the public and partners,” adds the President of Unity Madagascar.
