The bar of 1000 cases exceeded
Madagascar has just reached 1,000 cases, with 51 new cases registered today. Professor Hanta Vololontiana announced it today during his intervention on the national TVM channel, bringing the total number of cases of Covid-19 in Madagascar to 1025 since the start of the pandemic.
Among these new cases, 28 are located in Antananarivo, 22 in Toamasina and 1 in Haute Matsiatra.
11 healings have also been announced.
13,230 tests have been carried out since the start of the pandemic by the Institut Pasteur de Madagascar (IPM), the Charles Mérieux Center for Infectious Disease and the laboratory of Joseph Ravoahangy Andrianavalona Hospital (HJRA).
New death recorded in Toamasina
