Each of us has made mistakes in the past.  Everyone has their own way of getting up.  Most have decided to close forever a chapter of their past that includes their mistakes and never talk about them.  But was that really the best decision?  Others remain focused on this past, and never manage to turn the page.  But is this also the right option?

Let’s question our past

Do not taking responsibility or running away from your past is usually our choice in the face of mistakes.  In fact, this option is not recommended.  We have to go through the mistakes made in the past.  I’m not saying that we should be proud of our past mistakes.  A reconsideration is just necessary.  The mistakes are to be analyzed.  To do this, we must remember the situation, think about other alternatives that we could have adopted.  Once this analysis is done, we can learn from it. By the same token, no longer make the same mistake 🙂

A future created from lessons and not mistakes

The past, the present and the future are all parts of our life.  Respectively, each party plays a vital role.  In the past, we can perceive the situations already lived, our attitudes towards these situations, as well as their resolutions.  And in the present moment, we are in the direction of our future.  The past is the road we have already traveled. In the present time, we must now know how to control the wheel through the past.  However, living in the past will not create our future.  Indeed, we must close the past once we have the necessary elements to build the future.  The elements to keep in mind from our past are lessons.  The elements to close with the past are: frustration, shame and regret for mistakes.  These do not allow us to move forward.  On the contrary, they will remain obstacles to what we want to achieve for our future.
