October 24, 2017 – 39 new cases of plague were reported today on the entire island. According to the report of the National office of risk management and disaster (BNGRC), 39 cases were recorded, including 15 on Grand-Tana. The total number of patients cured since 1 August is 806, of which 28 cured on 24 October 2017. No deaths were recorded. The total number of plague victims, all cases combined, amounted to the last figures of yesterday at 1,192, of which 67% in pulmonary form.
