ViMa, the only Malagasy company in Forbes
It is indeed a consecration for Vision Madagascar. Indeed, Vision Madagascar was the only Malagasy company present in the special hundredth anniversary issue of the American magazine Forbes.
« Madagascar’s vision has been highlighted through its achievements that contribute to improving the quality of life of Madagascar and give another image of the private sector, which must try to match the search for financial added value with that of value added for the country”, the press release said.
The construction of the Antananarivo Town Hall, the implementation of FSC standards for thousands of hectares of pine forest, partnership with Teleperformance call center and energy production with Symbion have been evoked and confirm that Vision Madagascar has become a leader in their field. This also confirms the visibility of Madagascar in this magazine, which was able to materialize thanks to the presence of Zouzar Bouka on the board of Invest Africa United States, an organization intended to invest investments in African countries.
Madagascar, hub for investors
Madagascar is presented as a hub for investors who want to have access to a market of more than thousands of consumers in 34 African countries. Madagascar is very present in the trade agreements, Sadc, Comesa or the EAC. The Big Island signed the TFTA linking these three markets in July 2017. Also mentioned were the Agoa and the agreements with the EU which allow an exponential attraction of the country. Forbes chose Warren Buffet for the cover of this issue and highlighted the top 100 leaders in the business world, including Gates, Bezos, and Zuckerberg.
